Dear family and friends. I was recently accepted to join CAIR's (Council on American Islamic Relations) Muslim Youth Leadership Program (MYLP) in Sacramento in August 2019. One of the pre-requisites to participate is to help fund raise for a worthy cause. Your donation will continue to help CAIR protect the civil rights of all Americans, regardless of faith. MYLP students will gain an in-depth understanding of California's legislative process, sharpen their leadership skills, and receive hands-on training in the areas of civic engagement and media advocacy. This is something that I feel strongly about and would like to do the most that I can to help those who cannot help themselves against injustices.
